She glittered in the glass case at the shop. Mind you, just a twinkle, enough to catch my eye. I asked the shopkeeper to free her from the case so I could give her closer inspection. She sat majestic on the sales counter, displaying her crystal gems and I could not resist.
The money parted hands and I pinned her to my chest as the shopkeeper said, “I think there is another way to wear it.” Later the trusty internet advised me she was created to wear on the padded shoulder of a jacket, so I understood her words.
I still kept her on my chest, I’ll not let cowardice thoughts make me conform! She is so dangerously pretty, she can be worn anywhere.
