Rummaging about his tool shed I caught my husband’s attention. “What are you doing?” he asked. “The Daily Post daily prompt is the word vice.” I answered him, to then continue, “I’m looking for one to take a photo.”
My husband chuckled and asked me to spell the word. Puzzled I spelt out v-i-c-e. Barry smiled and said, “This is one of those times when you’re gonna wish the children’s aid had sent you to grade school.” He then gifted me the words vice and vise, often pronounced the same, yet words with completely different meanings.
After all my rummaging I could not find a view of a vice to snap an image, so, I present to you, Dear Reader, my photo of my husband’s vise!
