“Would Superman change his wardrobe in this telephone booth?” I’d asked aloud of myself as I took the photograph. The booth in a sadness-state of disarray; litter strewn about, handset unhooked, urine stains and empty phone book cover.
I smiled as I recalled my childhood question of the character, “What happened to all the suits he littered in the phone booths?” In the sanctuary of my thoughts I said, “Superman was not so super.”
I noticed then the graffiti message “ASKEW” painted on the phone book cover. I’d not been the first to wonder at the debasement of the booth, nor was I the first to document this site.

Interesting thought about the clothes in the phone booth. Now I wonder that too.
