Smirk of green

Nature taking back the planet.

You thought you had suppressed me, burying me under bricks and concrete, to then set a light post as though to fly a flag in victory. Stepping back to gaze upon the results you saw my smirk of green.

Your bricks and concrete were formed from bits of me you see. Your structures appear to you as permanent, but this is false. In time I always reclaim the bits of me you used and burst back forth to display my majesty.
